Greetings Internet vikings, Joe3 here with some news!
I know it's been quiet here, but that's because I've spent the past few months getting my online life in order, by which I mean I've brought all my disparate websites, blogs, and other stuff under one URL. And now that I've done that, I'm ready to rededicate myself to some projects I've been ignoring for far too long. In addition, I've ended some other projects that we're taking up a lot of my time and effort, but weren't exactly paying off (I'm looking at you, Creative Incite Radio), and even started a few new things that I'd like to tell you about here.
Second, there's new installment of Guy Verbose, Introspective Private Eye. Those of you who've seen a copy of The Butter Lamb News or The Ravens Way Review may remember previous instances of Guy's adventures. In this one, Guy loses it (almost) when he can't find a book.
Finally, not so long ago there was the 7 Songs with Joe3 Podcast, then there was Creative Incite Radio, and now there is This Week in Strange Music, a new musical endeavor where I introduce you to three songs that qualify as "strange music," and by "qualify," I mean stuff that came up when I searched the terms "strange music," "weird music," or "bizarre music." Now please note, that when I say music, I mean it. So, don't expect to hear collections of bleeps and bloops and other strange noises that pretends to be music. This strange music is music, and I hope you like it ... or at least find it interesting. To sweeten the deal, I've paired each track with a little bit of editorial riffing.
So enjoy these new items on the Joe3Smith website/blog and stay tuned for more. I know I've made such bold promises in the past, but this time I think I've really found an efficient way to channel the unruly energy of my methed-out hamster brain into something sustainable. Thanks for riding shotgun.
